As president of the Fond du Lac Rotary Club for 2007-2008, I want to welcome you to our website. Our club, founded in 1919 has 155 members, our goals continue to follow that great set of Rotary values: fellowship, friendship and doing good work in the world. We pride ourselves on continuing to stay aware of needs in our own organization as well as in our community and throughout the world. Urged on by Rotary International President William Boyd, we strive to be leaders in our community, showing others that solid integrity, concern for others and generosity of spirit are ageless values.
Through a combination of fund raising activities, member donations and supported by income from a substantial endowment, we are able to help meet the needs of Fond du Lac and the surrounding area as well as contribute to the efforts of Rotary International in helping in the fight against polio and to bring basic essentials such as food, clean water, adequate medical care and literacy to remote parts of the world.
Fond du Lac Rotary club will accept grant requests from or on behalf of organizations defined as tax-exempt under section 501 (C) (3) of the internal revenue code or from or on behalf of a state or local government agency that exists for public purpose.
